Expansive view of Craters of the Moon thermal reserve with Mount Tauhara in the background. Tauhara is a stratovolcano reaching 1088 metres (3,569 ft) high. Everything in this view is part of the Taupō Volcanic Zone, which includes an extensive area from White Island to Mount Ruapehu.
