The Big Carrot in Ohakune

Near the entrance to Ohakune on approach from Wairoa, a large replica of a carrot creatively dubbed 'The Big Carrot' can be seen. It is the largest model carrot in the world. The carrot was donated to the town in recognition of its rural roots and in particular its production of carrots. |
