Auckland's Sky Tower is the tallest tower in the Southern Hemisphere reaching 328 metres high. The tower offers spectacular views for almost 100 kilometres in every direction. This includes as far as the Waitekere Ranges to the west, Hauraki Gulf and associated islands to the east, up to the Rodney District in the north, and much of South Auckland.
There are three public observation floors including: the main observation level, with the restaurant 'Sky Lounge' above that, and Sky Deck as the name suggests being the highest level. All levels offer a 360 degree panorama of Auckland while the lower main observation deck also offers an unobstructed view down to street level through a partial glass floor.
