Tourists sunbathing on Sandy Bay at the small settlement of Marahou, near the entrance to Abel Tasman National Park. Behind the beach are a bumber of commercial shops and tourist services such as kayak rentals and accomodation. Once you head into the park however, you leave this behind to get up and close with pristine nature.
