About More New Zealand Flora
New Zealand flora is unique in the world. Due to being isolated from the rest of the world, New Zealand has many unique species. Many of these plants have medicinal properties and were used extensively by the Maori pre_European occupation. Other plants were used for clothing and dress such as the leaves from the New Zeland Flax.
