About Takapuna Auckland
Takapuna is a suburb on Auckland's North Shore. It is the main shopping and entertainment area of the North Shore and also has a good beach making it a popular summer location. The suburb is surrounded by water as it is positioned on a peninsula which touches the Hauraki Gulf, Waitemata harbour, and also Lake Pupuke.
