Docklands Victoria otherwise known as Melbourne Docklands is located near the CBD on land that was once swamp and a salt lake. Originally developed as a dock connected by rail, it fell into disuse in the 1990s and was used as a vibrant underground rave/dance scene. It is now a retail complex and primary address for many businesses and brands. The 90s dance culture still exists with organised events held at Docklands Stadium.
