Popular as pets, the Australian Budgerigar also known as 'budgie', is a parrot that exists in the drier regions of Australia.
Budgerigars are green, yellow, and black. In captivity, they have been bred with other colours including blue, white, yellow, and grey. They are popular pets as they can mimick speech and are famous for their playful antics.
