Jim Jim Falls

Jim Jim Falls photo

© Nigel Malone

Jim Jim Falls in Kakadu National Park is an impressive 200 m (660 ft) high waterfall set in the escarpment of Arnhem Land . During the Dry season, access to the falls is by dirt road, but the flow of the falls is less impressive at that time of the year. In the Wet season, the flow of the falls are at peak volume, but access by road is impossible. Pictures of the falls during peak flow are taken by helicopter or small plane.
