About Erskine Falls

Erskine Falls is located in Great Otway National Park in southern Victoria, a 10km drive from the small town of Lorne. The falls plunge about 30 metres into an area of temperate rainforest around the Erskine River."

There are two vantage points, the first is a wooden platform a mere 5 minute walk from the carpark, but the latter is more difficult to reach as it requires a steep descent down steps to view the falls from Erskine River below.

From the second vantage point, you can do a more difficult trek by following the Erskine River for 7.5km (4.7 mi) all the way to Lorne. Onroute through lush temperate rainforest, you will see both Straw Falls and Splitter Falls.
