About Eagle Heights

Eagle Heights is a village on Tamborine Mountain located in what is dubbed "the green behind the gold". The term gold is short for Gold Coast. Spectacular views is the first thing that strikes visitors to Eagle Heights with some vantage points that provide views stretching from Moreton Bay in the north down to Tweed Heads in the south and closer views of Gold Coast city.

Visitors usually pass through Eagle Heights on their way to visit nearby Tamborine National Park. The park itself has great lookouts, cliffs, gorges, waterfalls, and forests including the Gondwana rainforest. Wildlife is abundant in the park and includes, the Platypus, and birds such as the Lyrebird, Brush-turkey, Eastern Whipbird, Satin Bowerbird, and variations of lorikeet.

Eagle Heights offers explorers of this area some shops and restaurants where you can enjoy locally produced wine.
