Aboriginal Didgeridoos

The didgeridoo is the world's oldest wind instrument. Rock art in in northern Australia suggests that the Aboriginal people of Kakadu were using the didgeridoo around 1500 years ago. It produces a droning sound and a good player can add vocal sounds that mimic Australian animals like the kookaburra. Similar to playing the bagpipes, players have to continuing to blow air through the instrument, while breathing.
