Champagne
Pool is located in the Waiotapu Thermal Reserve located between Rotorua and
Taupo. The pool is 60m in diameter and 60m deep and its temperature is 74°C.
The pool was formed 900 years ago by a hydrothermal eruption. Minerals contained
in the water are gold, silver, mercury, sulphur, arsenic etc.
